Ayurveda Consultation

A considered conversation about your routines, questions, and goals, guided by the traditional language of Ayurveda and shaped around you.

1 hr 30 minOne-on-oneSan Marcos or virtual by arrangement
A place to begin

Time to ask, listen, and understand.

Many people are curious about Ayurveda but want to understand how its ideas relate to everyday life before exploring a therapy or formulation. The consultation gives you space to ask those questions. Vaidya Kamal listens to your concerns, learns about your food, sleep, daily rhythm, and broader circumstances, then explains how Ayurveda might interpret those patterns.

The discussion may lead to ideas about routine, food, rest, and other traditional wellness practices. It is an opportunity to understand the approach and consider next steps, without a promise of a particular outcome or a requirement to purchase another service or product.

During your session

What the conversation covers.

The emphasis is on your questions and circumstances. These are common parts of an initial appointment.

01

Your story and goals

Talk through what brought you in, what you hope to learn, and the habits or concerns you want to discuss.

02

Traditional assessment

Explore dosha and mana concepts. An in-person session may include Ayurvedic pulse assessment as part of the traditional conversation; it is not a medical test or diagnosis.

03

Daily-life guidance

Discuss food choices, meal rhythm, rest, and sustainable routines through an Ayurvedic lens. Any conversation about botanicals considers your circumstances and existing care.

04

Questions and next steps

Ask about the reasoning behind an idea, whether another service is relevant, and when a licensed clinician is the right person to consult.

Good to know

Questions before booking.

If you have a question about suitability or the meeting format, contact the practice.

Can I meet virtually?

Ask the practice about current phone or video availability. A virtual visit can support a conversation about routines and Ayurvedic concepts. Hands-on assessment and body therapies require an appropriate in-person setting.

Do I need to know my dosha first?

No. You can arrive with questions and curiosity. Vaidya Kamal can explain dosha, mana, agni, and other ideas during the session without requiring you to identify a type beforehand.

Will this replace my medical care?

No. An Ayurveda consultation is a complementary wellness service. It does not diagnose or treat a medical condition or replace care from a licensed health professional. Keep following prescribed care, and seek medical evaluation for new, serious, or worsening symptoms.
